What is the transmission fluid capacity of a 2008 Focus SES (2.0L Duratec engine)? Are there any special considerations that should be made when dropping the pan and replacing fluid (such as having some extra fluid on hand than is actually "needed")?

I've read on here that the pan drop and fluid replace is the way to go, rather than having a mechanical "flush" performed. That seems to be the consensus.

Total Capacity is 7-Quarts / 6.6-Litres according to my 2008 Owners Manual and the Amsoil website lookup guide.
Here is a direct Link to Owners section of the Ford Website > https://www.ford.com/support/vehicle/Focus/2008/owner-manuals/
Or a Direct Link to the actual manual pdf on the ford website (this way you dont have to hunt around there ) https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/catalog/owner_guides/08focog3e.pdf

page 246 in the manual shows the capacity for the fluid on a 2008 ford focus (north american model - 2.0L 4cyl - 4spd auto 4f27e ).
