I drive a 2001 Escape 2.0 5spd.
Does anyone know what trans came std, mine is giving it up and I can likely find Focus/Contour parts much easier than Escape.

Is that also known as a MTX-75?

I dont know for sure but if they are the same the bell housing is most likely different. That's probably not very helpful but that's all I can really say.
