OK i've seen on a couple of post that a spi tranny will interchange with the ztec, if this is so please let me know for sure, I know they use the same axles and the same filter kit, but is this the only simalar things or not??[dunno]

from what I understand, it will for the auto, but not the IB5

Why would you want to do this?
Because I swaped my wifes wagon from spi to ztec auto and the tranny is going out and i have a perfect auto spi tranny just wasting away.

I cant see why you couldnt do it..... you may want to post down in the engine/tranny swap section of the forum just to be sure.
