The 2002 focus is available with an IB5 manual transmission on the SPI (or sohc) or a MTX-75 manual transmission on the Zetec (or dohc.) There is only one automatic transmission for the 2002 focus and that is the 4F27E.

Almost forgot the SVT focus. It is equipped with a MT285 manual (6-speed) transmission.

no it will not work there were two different transmissions for the focus each one egine specific unless its a auto then I think it will fit.
