What range should my tps show on my scan tool. It is 18% at idle and 88% at wide open throttle. Should it be 100% at WOT. Should I adjust it so it is and will my driveability change?

Hmm, I just went out and looked, my Scangauge shows me 16 at idle and 88 at WOT. So I'm about the same.

the ecu wants a buffer, it is used to see a fault and will throw a code

"TPS Throttle Position Sensor In some vehicles, a closed throttle will read 0 and full throttle
will read 100. Other vehicles will have a higher value than 0
for a closed throttle and a full throttle value less than 100."

Was just curious. Thought I may be missing out on a couple horses. The altitude in Albuquerque has sucked alot of power throughout the rpm range.
