If i do so remember correctly you do not need the shim kit, but this is from experience with the Quaife
Torsen Diff install
Going to be installing a torsen diff in my car within the next couple of weeks. Wondering if anyone who has installed one remembers whether the stock shims for the diff side gears worked for them or if they had to use another size shim. I know it is different from trans to trans and diff to diff just trying to get an idea of likelyhood of needing the shim kit.

Well there you go [thumb]I had to purchase a shim kit for my torsen!!!!
