Does anyone have a video to show how Toms tune shifts different than the stock software? I'm considering buying the tune when I get my tax return

i have not seen any videos. you'll just have to take it from the people who have his tune. It's definitely better.

Plenty of positive reviews can be found about Tom's tune. His customer service is excellent as well.

I agree, absolutely. We were having an issue with my tune. We sent emails back and forth like a dozen times, but he was persistent and was able to get it fixed. I blame my car, something with my ECU. It was the ECU strategy of my car causing the issue with a tune, wouldn't let me rev past 3500 rpm.

So far, the base tune is amazing in my 5sp with full bolt ons I was spinning tires all through 1st. LOL

So far, Tom has my vote.

If you look around on Fousfanatics you will see I have a very good reputation with my customers , my customer service and my tunes

I feel that anyone that has a issue with me , my customer service , my tune should first come to me and give me the chance to do all I can to correct any issues , If I cannot or wont then come to the Forum or face book and tell your story ,

You wont find one post where I wouldnt make a safe change to a tune , one post where my tune didnt work if instructions were followed and I was allowed to finish the tune to customers satisfaction

You will find a couple that either didnt/wouldnt follow instructions , didnt let me know there was issues and allow me to fix them , one on FF FB has never sent me any datalogs yet still complaining and there is a lot of " My brothers girl friends uncles son got a tune from tom and it was no good , I cant fix it if I dont know its broken and anyone that doesnt have my tune or worked with me shouldn't be saying anything negative , yet they do

Would be interesting to ask those guys posting how many have sent me datalogs in the last 3-4 days to fix any issues there having , my guess is none!

Things like me not wanting to make changes to there idle , fan settings etc is just BS , I will make any requested change a customer tune as long as it doesnt hurt there engine/trans

Anyone saying a negative post about me gets deleted is BS

I read what was said on FB and you have to ask your self why dont they post it here on Focusfanatics if there was a problem and I wouldnt fix it ? They post it on FB because they assume I am not on there because I dont post there , they do it behind my back which sais a lot about there character

If you look around Focusfanatics you will find hundreds or happy customers , I strive to have great customer service and work hard to make you/my customers the best tune that can be made , No other tuner in the business spends the time with emails , phone that I do and am willing to do , I have added teamviewer as a tool to remote in and help customers with issues

You would be happy with my customer service and my tune like so many are

the ONLY people that i have ever met that talk crap about Tom's tune are the "my sisters, brothers, cousins, uncle happened to say... blah, blah, blah." or the best one i have seen to date is.

"man Tom's tune didnt help me at all. i got codes and the car runs like shit."
then i ask, "what happened?"
"ahh man, im running the tune tom sent me and it has codes."
i reply, "did you data log?"
them. "No man, i just put it in and go."

those are the idiots that talk shit. because they dont know how to do as they are instructed to get their car running right.

^^^ That's the category who thinks a 'tune' does a 'tune up' on their car to fix existing problems.

CEL info. & datalogs done WITH a tuning device can help with diagnosis, but they can't fix anything directly - neither can a 'tune' for most issues.

Only when a 'code' results from modifications can a 'tune' to adjust for those mods 'cure' a code directly related to them.

Everytime I hound one of these guys that says Tom blew up their engine, it ends up being a buddy of theirs, then a buddy, of another buddy's buddy had his engine blown up by tom back in the day..then when I find that guy and press for details...I get nothing, then the insults happen, you suck toms ****, ride his ****...listen to me, I have experience and if you don't listen, you'll be sorry.... had one guy say Tom tuned his turbo SVT, and after 30+ tunes still couldn't tune it correctly... at least this has some details, but again, subjective...was there other issues with car? Maybe he still needed another couple of datalogs/tunes? Or wasn't give Tom enough info to diagnose what was going wrong?

So far Tom's tunes have been pretty good. Next month I plan on getting the car dynoed to see what I'm making out of curiosity. As long as it's in the 175-190 range I'll be happy. (My car is faster than my sisters 1.8 Turbo bug lmao)

I dont tune for peek power , I do custom Tuning for the over all tune

Better daily driveability , better shifting , better over all performance , better MPG

I do Tuning , I will leave the peek HP chest beaters to the tooners

Well this is why you talk to the tuners privately and also ask as many questions as possible to determine who would be best suited for what you need/want. Hell I had a friend of mine swear up and down RDC tuned a NA Mk3 past 200 HP. And so I asked him personally and he said no. Of course this is all from fb. The kid has never been part of the forums. Lol hell, I asked the kid who had the highest NA focus and who tuned him and it was Tom. Wouldn't give us a mods list though lol. But like you said. The Kool aid on fb. XD

I feel FB hurts the Forum and people go there to post and ask questions that others cannot see , sell parts and never come to the Forums , I feel in the long run it hurts the Forum
Look at focaljet , almost no one post there any more but there FB is very active , it absolutely killed focaljet , I would hate to see that happen here

I am on other Forums and one of them did 4 or 5 FB pages close to the Forum name and locked them all so it couldnt happen

But let's be honest. Forums are the old way of doing things and are slowly dieing. It's easier to hop on fb now a days and ask questions. Hell, a millions of people have a Facebook account today.

Personally I love forums. Usually it keeps the maturity in compared to all the BS that's on Facebook. It's also easier to find things and acts like a log since it's usually open to the public and when googling stuff the forum pops up.

FB has its place dont get me wrong , In the Forums you can go to what your looking for and find it
On FB you have to read through it all to see what people are saying or selling or you mis things
If a guy was having an issue with say a SVT Focus with timing issues he might have to read for days to find anything on FB where on the Forum could find the info in 5-10 Min
