I've decided after a lot of thought to upgrade my shocks and springs, even though my springs and shocks were upgraded from stock jut 25k miles ago.
I currently have svt factory springs and Monroe Sensa trac shocks/struts. It for sure doesn't ride or handle like the usually 125k Focus that is out there. (has complete front end rebuild, upgraded front and rear sway bars)

If I remember right, Tokico blue were once offered as a Ford Sport kit, then Tokico pulled out of the replacement market a few years ago... and I've gotten a catalogue showing that they are back once again.

Does anyone remember or have experience with the Tokico blues and how they might compare to the various Koni shocks, including the Orange and Yellow?

If cost were not object, I'd just put the Koni yellow; however, I have consider cost as an important factor.

Thanks in advance for your insight, DJ

FelixTheCat usually recommends the complete eibach set up (springs/dampers) at tire rack - check out the cost on those. I myself have no experience with them (or the Tokicos).

He swears by the Koni Yellows, though. Big $$ up front, but you won't be doing them again for quite a while from the sound of it. Supposed to be "the" set up for handling and such - you'll just be on noodles until the budget catches up (hey, it's only money, right? Easier said than done, too).

For anyone trying to answer, I think one question would be what springs you plan on going with to try to figure which shocks would be the best match.

Ive got Koni Oranges and theyve been a delight so far, no problems what so ever. Yea I know we are talking about different shocks here but if I can speak for quality of product I have been more than satisfied.
