Hey guys whats up? so i have a guy that wants to sell me a set (4) of blizzak tires for $250 bucks with 85% tread left. now the question is the size of the tire is a 225/45/17, can that fit on my svt. the tires came off of a 2004 sti. thanks for the help[thumb]

Yes and no. They will fit, but mine rubbed on tight corners. If you can live with that, you will be ok. I found a set of 205/45's that fit much better. Let me tell you though, last year was the first year that I could actually drive through the snow. It was unstoppable with snows on it.

I would pass and get a set of 16" rims with 205/55 tires. Dunlop wintersport m3's are a great performance value.

The narrower the better for a dedicated snow tire on the street. It results in a better bite and grip. Big fat tires only work in soft deep snow when flotation is needed.
