Im looking in to getting some wide wheels for my 02 focus zx3. they are saleen reps from the mustangs. ive seen them on another members car and love them. i will be doing some flares for this project but im not sure the tire size to keep them as wide as possible to not have too much streach if any and as low pro as poss. to keep my height happy. any thoughts?

Front Wheel Size: 17X9
Fitment: 1987-1993 Mustang 5.0L GT, LX, Hatchback
Bolt Pattern: 4Lug / 4X4.25
Wheel Offset: +20mm
Backspacing: 5.80"

Rear Wheel Size: 17X10
Fitment: 1987-1993 Mustang 5.0L GT, LX, Hatchback
Bolt Pattern: 4Lug / 4X4.25
Wheel Offset: +25mm
Backspacing: 6.83"

245/40/17 for front and 255/40/17 for rear. I think that might have a straight side wall. Check the mustang forums for pics of that combo

Did this ever happen? I'm looking at the 17/8, 19mm offset. So I can rotate, don't need a ton of tire, just like the wheels. Would a 245/45 fit? What are my tire options?
