hey, this will sound like a noobie Q. , but what PSI should i be running in my Kumho 711s at the size of 215/40-17 ?? This is just for dialy driving..
BTW...the tire says to have a 44PSI max

DON'T run them at the "max" pressure that's listed on the sidewall.
DO look at the VIN sticker on your door, or door jamb, and adjust your pressures from the settings shown.
In fact, your recommended tire pressures may also be listed on the back of the fuel filler cover.

On the other hand, that's close to the size of the SVTF stock tires,
and their recommended pressures are 31-front / 29-rear.
I'd set yours at 34-front / 32-rear, and go from there.

for stock 16's they recommend 34PSI all around so WD40's suggestion sounds reasonable.

I still have my stock 16" (blah, 17" Kazeras soon to come) and I run 35 PSI all around. Makes for a nice firm ride added with the SVT kit I have.

I know not to run them at their max, but thankz...
i'm gonna go w/ what u suggested WD40, well around that anyways...
i though i'd just ask, since this is the first set of 17" rims and tires i've owned, and i dont want to screw em all up.
