I have svt brakes on my zx3 and have to run 16" wheels. To achieve a shorter gearing advantage I went with 205/45 tires. I am going to a race on the 7th of October to get a 1/4 mile shake down.
What I want to know is, how low of tire pressure is ok without having a issue?

You can drive on 20psi for short distance but remember handling will be squirrelly and the tire will build more heat.

Just some d.o.t. street tires. I am used to a bigger profile when dragging. Im hoping to get some real life experience info. Im going to start at 25 psi and walk it down till it feels weird ....but i think if 20 psi works I will stay there. My car isnt real fast right now so I believe it will be OK at 20. I am hoping for a 14 second pass. Long as my time starts with that number....haha I will be a happy camper.

So on some test hits the tires hate any psi. More than 25...haha but I was able to beat a SVT so I feel ok.
