Im looking for something that handles decent but is good in the winter. Any opinions on the Cooper CS5 vs General Altimax vs Continental DWS? They are $400, $500, and $600 for four, respectively.

These are General altimax artic. Very quiet ride. Have run Generals on 2 cars now and find them to be very good. They were a very good price.

Are you looking for something year round or only for winter?

I would get a dedicated snow tire if it's just for winter. The Altimax Arctics are a great, cheap snow tire.

I was looking for year round tires. I went with the Cooper CS5. I got all four of them, shipped, installed, and after tax for $360. They seem like a solid American-made tire.

Picked these up in New Hampshire while on vacation. Invoice says HD Tuning 16" multi fit wheel. Purchased from Town Fair Tire. They have a website. They are a winter wheel, $ 115 each.

Here they are. They look great, and it feels much nicer to drive. Tons more rubber than before too. Cant wait for some snow!
