ok ive got a basic pipercross induction kit on my 1.6 and recently noticed a ticking noise at idle under the bonnet, ive heard in the past the induct kit could cause this but dont understand why/how, any ideas? cheers

Depending on how loud the tic is and the frequency of it, it may just be the normal fuel injector tic; which is my guess. Though it may just be the intake system vibrating and rubbing slightly on something, bit of weight here and there should dispel that.
