ok so i have a 2.0l se wagon and there is some bad lag its about a full 2 seconds from a stop but if its goin at least 20kmh it has no lag, is there anyway i can fix the lag?

have you tuned your car up recently? changed the fuel filter?

I also know of a fuel pump recall that may cover your year, but not completely certain

it has been tuned recently, could it be the throttle body, i think it may need a new air filter tho, and should i get a new fuel pump to be safe?

did your car have the recall on the fuel pump? That could be the problem, if so you can take it in and they will do it for free. I would recommend taking it in low on gas to make it easier to have replaced too, it will save them time so you get it back faster.

did you change the fuel filter?i have an automatic tranny and my delay is only about 1 sec mine used to deplay to about 2 or 3 and i changed the spark plugs,and fuel filter, and air filter and now its fine
