Could you assist me? My front sidelights are used as DRLs aswell, now with the standard bulb they are pretty poor and look like p[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] holes in snow. I want to replace them with LEDs but I'm not sure which to get.

I need a good balance of visibility during the day and not blinding at night.

I've been looking at 13 smd LEDs 360degree and also 9 and 5 smd 360degree ones. Has anyone fitted any of these? What are the brightnesses like at day and night? Any pictures?

Now I know our light in the uk are different, the sidelight / parking light bulb is more focused in it's own little housing but I need to get an idea before purchasing.

Thanks in advance. Liam.

Hi, you might want to try the uk talkford mk4 mondeo site, there they've been experimenting with using the sidelights as drl's thus can recommend the best bulbs to use. I can't find the actual thread but it is here http://www.talkford.com/forum/126-lighting-mk4-mondeo/ somewhere and I'm sure the systems are very similar.
