2003 Ford Focus ZX3 Pro Touring V8 Power


So i've been going back and forth. I've talked to the guys selling it and they are firm on the price. I know it's got enough put into it and it's unique enough... but do you really think it's worth it?

It all depends on the price. I think the V8 focus is a great have if you have one. But get it thinking you will be getting any good gas mileage out of it. lol.

But for show ... definitely.

That is a cool car no doubt but 35 grand can buy you a whole hell of a lot in the used sports car market.

35k is an aweful lot of money. Hope u dont have any bills or plan on having bills for awhile cuz thats expensive. unless u won the lottery.

They want too much for it, and it's only as good as the work done to it. You could make your own for cheaper than that IMO

agreed..... I mean I know my car wont be as nice as that when it's drivable but I mean that's max 7k I've put into the car and that's including purchase price when I bought it a few years ago and all the mods/repairs I've done to it [dunno]

but it looks nice. Better be for that cost.

I have seen this car before, and for the mods that have been done to thiis car they are not asking to mutch! It can be daily driven and is faster than a cobra. If you have that kind of money to spend on a v8 focus I would. At least you won't be another d-bag in a mustain! Just my opinion and yes I know there are some chill mustang owner to.

Meh this looks like a 35K project to me

You can buy an old Zetec a FSWerks turbo kit and some other fun parts for under 10K if you want a project. Then you can take the other 25K and buy a truck and boat or party like Charlie Sheen for a weekend [headbang]

35k is way over priced. Spend 5k on car and 15k on the v8 engine/trans and mods to install and 5k on other mods and you save 10k. And that is being generous. Used to see lots of engines swaps into miatas and hondas and they never cost anywhere near this much. Gas mileage would suck for sure. But it would be hella fun to drive and show. But for 35k there are alot of really nice cars you could get or almost get.

there is a guy in houston selling a V8 for about 13k. it isn't as pretty as that one but it's a V8

Thanks everyone for your input! It helps a lot. Still not sure on the route I want to go... but if they really need to sell this car they'll come down to reality soon
