I've got a coolant drip coming from the t-stat housing temperature sensor.

From the searches, it sounds like my 04 SVT has an o-ring seal at the temp sensor.

I have boxes of assorted o-rings - I'm guessing that removing the c-clip and the sensor and simply matching up a new o-ring and reinstall should do it.

Simple as that? Any tips for the R&R?

I know, I need a friggin repair manual, haven't found the right one yet.
(Anybody want to trade for a factory '98 Civic manual? That car disappeared one night...)

Yes, you just unclasp the C clips and plug the sensor out, but you might as well do all three while you're at it.

Make sure you use Viton O-rings. They're a bit thicker and might require some trimming to get the sensors to seat right.

Good point on the Viton; hope to not have to 'trim' an o-ring, however...

When the rain subsides I'll go give it a shot, see if it's anywhere close to a standard size, then post. Might be a while, Seattle forecast is typical rain thru May. (ahem)

Dang, I miss my garage, but the folks renting my house love it. Long story, but a good one, overall.
