So after looking it up, is this correct.

My 2004 svt focus has


Basic: 3 yr. / 36,000 mi. Expired
Drivetrain: 5 yr. / 100,000 mi.
Roadside: 3 yr. / 36,000 mi. Expired
Rust: 5 yr. / Unlimited mi.



This correct? Im asking because I hear a slight valve lashing adjuster tap and am wondering if its covered.

Probably not covered, actually plan on it not being covered.

Not a real tough job to do on your own though so long as you know how to work a feeler gauge and can read the number on the lifter/bucket/lash adjuster/tappet (to many names for the damn things).

Only pay attention to what says it's SVT specific, the valvetrain differs from a normal zetec, so be sure you make it very clear it's for an SVT Focus when/if you order any parts.

Cool, thank you for the information... Ill find out tomorrow, I dropped the car off tonight at the dealer to be inspoected and Im going to have them take a look at the noise.

Ive changed lashing adjusters on my cobra and it wasnt too bad..
