So I want to port the stock tb. My question is will this drastically effect gas milage? Also the focus hacks refers to a lube on the inside of the tb, do I need to replace this lube after porting and cleaning the tb? If what is it where can I get it?

I didnt replace the lube and didnt notice fuel milage go up or down but iam glad I did it and was surprised how easy it was to do. All and all its a great mod in my opinion.

Save it , this mod does nothing but make you feel like you did something .... But I guess that isnt a bad thing

smoths out the tb.
No noticable gain/loss to MPG.

I did this mod (both porting and port matching) and didn't really notice a difference at all. If you want better throttle response you should get a larger throttle body.
