I just bought a Nordskog Intellitronix digital tach hooked it to the ECU pin 48, got my tach reading but is about half off, the car idles at 7-800 rpm but the tach shows 300, there is no adjustment, its supposed to be automatic change from 4-6-8cyl. The tach tests fine and changes on my other cars, but not on the spi, is there a way to calibrate the car to reckognize it?

And no
get a real tach with the switch else by the $70 ford racing tach driver.
The tach signal is not a real tach signal only a synthetic tach signal coming from the ecu

the tach adaoptor is easy to install.
