As the title says! Im looking vor new replacement tstat and battery cables. Anyone know of some good makes?

I know my tstat has a fairly common leaky o ring gasket! i was wondering if there was a threaded version available (thought there was)

And if anyone has experience with corroded battery cables, And know of a good replacement i would really appreciate it!

I replaced the seals in my original housing, then less then one year later it started leaking again. Save the hassle get the updated thermostat housing.

The battery cables can be ordered from Ford. They're not that expensive and you get the complete harness with positive, negative and the other wires. It's much easier than trying to put together separate pieces.

call steeve at tousley ford, he has a contour housing that fits the SVT that is miles better than the stock one. I did the whole conversion for around $50 through him.

I got the same one off of a 01 contour at the junk yard for $2 the got the 1/8" plug from home depot for $1.99. Works great. For battery cables use 4 ga. Stereo power wire with the cup ends fill them with solder and drop the wire in and split wire loom where needed
