My objective was to lower the car this past weekend. Needless to say, I didn't get too far. Essentially, with the rust that took place, I ended up rounding out the allen wrench part of the sway bar linkage. Now I can't get it off. Any advice will be appreciated. Where is the best place to get a replacement for the linkage? (Is it only a dealer part?)

Thanks

I found what worked best was to use either vice grips or a monkey wrench. Behind the sway bar, but before the endlink, is a circular part with 2 flat parts on it. I would clamp down on that to keep the endlink bolt from spinning, and work the back with a socket wrench.

Also, 2004 models now have new endlinks, where the allen head is gone, and that piece I described is now replaced with a hex head, so you can get a regular wrench on it.
