Hey guys I have what I hope to be a quick question.... will the zetec out of a svt focus bolt in to a zx2 escort that came with a zetec? I understand wiring and all that. Non issue... I'm talking about will zx2 trans bolt up? What about motor mounts?

Pretty sure it wont. I'm fairly certain the g5m and getrag have a different bolt pattern

Looks like it will bolt up to the zx2 trans and motor mounts.. everything else is easy

Little late on this but short answer no the SVT engine and the ZX2 trans are not compatible. However the SVT head is a direct bolt on to the ZX2. Here is what you will need and how to do it if you are still interested. http://teamzx2.com/threads/25482-SVTF-Head-Swap-How-to

The OP in this link changed the windage tray, and found a flywheel/clutch combo that would work.
