I stumbled across this on Ebay just now, an OBX brand header styled like a stock SVT header. Has anyone else seen this?

For auction is a brand new OBX stainless steel race header for the 02-04 FORD FOCUS SVT ZX3/ZX5. This will only fit the SVT model using the 2.0L Zetec engine. This race header is a replacement for the stock header. This utilizes larger primaries over the stock header to improved exhaust flow while retaining a tri-y design to retain good engine response. Included is a new upper gasket that goes between the cylinder head and header. Like all OBX headers, this too is backed by their lifetime warranty program.

well well looks like the svt header has its own knock off now lol It's probably sits lower than the svt so imagine what kinda dent it'll have lol when you bottom out

haha, I have to give it to OBX though. They seem to do their research and put products the market that are in demand. I might have to pick one up before I steal the header off my sister's SVT.

LOL no I'm not going to "get it" I just wanted to see what everyone says about it. The auction does state that it has larger primaries than the stock SVT header, so I was wondering if it could possibly make more power...

^^SVT header is the go for making power gains and it looks better then all those weld marks everywhere

Too many welds; too much of a chance of them cracking. That header will not make any more power than a stock SVT. The SVT motor is pretty much maxed out in all its N/Aness.

Yea i doubt the larger primaries will out perform all the testing cosworth put into the svt header. every little dent in the svt header is there for a reason as i understand. (minus ones from scraping lol)

I recommend SVT long tube header. I plan on getting one myself. Supposed to get the best performance out of it over any aftermarket designs.

i know a larger cat back will lose some low-end torque so i would say you are right.

wouldnt all those welds be a weak spot plus there's no way that the welds are smooth on the inside of the promaries.
