I went to the steeda web-sight and ordered this shift knob to use with my factory shifter http://www.steedafocus.com/parts/ford-focus-billet-shift-knobs.html, and then after the fact realized cfm carries them to. The ones on cfm http://focus.c-f-m.com/steedashiftknobandshiftbootadapterfor02-04svtst170and00-09focus.aspx
have a boot adapter. Will I need to order this also or will the knob screw on and work as is?
Another question I have is sometimes when I shift, and this mostly occers when I shift into fourth, The shifter gets stiff going into that gear and make kind of a spudder/clunky noise and I can feel it hesitate going into that spot. Anyone else experience this? I used the search and couldnt come up with much. Thanks all

but saw another member with the same knob so I jumped on it. Anyone have input on the shifter problem?
