new here with a 04 svt all stock from what i can tell and think i have a motor problem. car seems slow when speeding up to merge into traffic. it seems to run ok but down on power from what i expected when i got the car a few weeks ago.anything i should check?

Any CEL lights , have some one start the car and see if your IMRC is pulling back , then turn it off to make sure it goes back

Maybe a service? Air filter, plugs, fuel filter? and also the imrc like turbo said.

all tune up items look to be fairly new. cel only on when starting.
