Anyone with an SVT ever had their car fail to start because the ignition wiring harness frayed on the shifter linkage?
I was stranded this weekend because of this and could not figure out why the car would not start. I had to have the car towed.
My mechanic said the wiring harness was routed poorly around the shift linkage, eventually causing it to fray and ground out.
It took 3.5 hours in the shop to find and repair the problem.
Was this a common problem with the SVT?
