I searched around and can't find the answer I am looking for. I want to do the SVT header swap and purchased an SVT header from a factory SVT therefore it does not have the EGR bung on it. I want to install it on my zetec motor and maintain my EGR system. I have no problem welding it up I just need to know the specs on the bung i will need to weld to the header to make it work.

what kind of spec are you looking for? what kind of hole it is and how big? are you going to use your stock egr pipping or a svt one?

let me know, cause i can get you the spec, its just a matter of measuring... i got my kit in the garage. waiting to go on.

I would like to use my stock zetec EGR i just need to know the hole size, and what thread pitch i need to use. Excuse my lack of knowledge in this field. I just need to know what bung fitting I will need in order to utilize my stock EGR and make it work with the SVT header. And thanks for the reply toeycrack.

hey jman89, if your trying to reuse your stock egr piping, then all the info you need is in your engine bay. your just gunna have to mesaure the spot to open up the svt pip up.

i personally havn't removed my stock header to put on my new svt one yet, so i would know anything abotu the stock header vs svt header set up.

Yea I am going to take it apart and just measure it, I just wanted to see if anyone knew off hand its not a big deal tho. Thanks anyways tho
