Those dont specify If they fit my svt focus... will regular focus coil packs fit my SVT??

And I have never changed spark plugs before so what I need is a list of tools and maybe a pic or two on how to grease up the plugs/wires. Thanks

^spark plug socket, gap tool. Pull plug, gap new plug, and I put a little oil on the threads of the new plugs. Install. Done.

only advantage to the MSD is the looks. I would stay OEM for the ease of changing wires

Stock wires are sufficient. Don't need to spend more money on colored ones or one's that claim to give a better spark. There are numerous people who are running their boosted cars on normal wires.

FYI the MSD coil pack was originally designed for the zetec powered escorts (zx2). and you can use escort plug wires with them. my svtf currently has a zx2 coil pack on there with karls wires.... lol. works just as well as oem (did this after burning up an msd pack buddy had a zx2 coil pack form his totaled car and it worked like a charm since..

keep stock coil, go with 10mm blue leads, but only if your considering engine dress up, otherwise, keep ignition all stock, no gains from aftermarket, and your out of pocket for what?

I understand that the msd coil pack doesn't add any performance benefits. what about quality? Will the msd coil packs last longer?

i have had my cfm wires and msd coil pack on my svt for three years never had a problem with it and it did improve my throttle response a small bit not much could be bbecause of the wires though. i like my msd pack has worked fantastic for me so far and i wouldent go back to stock.

My car came with an uninstalled MSD coil and wires. I sold it and funded something else for the car.

Back when I was on the Mustang forums it was known that the stock coil had way more than enough firepower, and I'm talking about the Foxes and their 1980's coil design.

MSD coil packs are such trash, the car came with them and i have had 2 of these go bad - since 2014. Should have gotten OEM from the beginning - FACK.
