is there anything special i should know about replacing the pads on my SVT?

Whatever you do do not remove the spring dodad on the fronts. You can load the pads without removing that.

It's not worth the pain of putting back in, just to make putting the pads in easier.

You need a special tool for the rears to push the piston in on the caliper

The trick to the front spring is to remove and put on with vice grips. Vice grips are your friend. Super Easy.

dont remove the spring
and get the tool for the rear. all 4 corners should only take an hour if youve done brakes before.

You need a special tool for the rears to push the piston in on the caliper
Point of clarification. It is a SCREW type caliper. You cannot press it in.
