Whatever you do do not remove the spring dodad on the fronts. You can load the pads without removing that.

It's not worth the pain of putting back in, just to make putting the pads in easier.

You need a special tool for the rears to push the piston in on the caliper
Point of clarification. It is a SCREW type caliper. You cannot press it in.
