I could use a little help, I'm a Jeep guy and know nothing about IFS, so...

I have a 2003 ZTS that has begun a rather alarming squeak while making slow turns that articulate the suspension. Like the sound of an old mattress, a metal on metal sounding squeak. I can't see anything direct rubbing or figure exactly what might be making the sound. It's coming from the passenger wheel well, of that i'm certain. It's much more pronounced while making left hand turns (during passenger directed body roll), but will also do it while making right hand turns. Going over large bumps does not seem to cause a squeak.

So, who's got some ideas?

Thanks for the help guys.

Ya , sounds like main ball joint. Make small incision with point of exacto blade into side of rubber boot on ball joint...insert pointed red plastic tube of white lithium spray can...give it a few shots, but wear eye protection cause its gonna spray right back at you. I bet this takes care of the problem. If it does take care of it you know you at=re going to have to replace it.
