I have a 2007 SES sedan. The console had two plastic tabs snapped off. I was able to reattach with super glue. When I went to pop back the console the tabs held but I am unable to get the console flush with the roof interior.

My guess is the metal tabs in the front are not snapping back. The console still works. I just have a gap between the console and the roof.

Thanks for any input. Other that that we're up to 110,000 with no other problems. Thanks for any input.

Some of those metal clips need a firm whack to get them to reseat fully. Just make sure your plastic tabs are in place first so you don't have to glue them again...

I just successfully finished snapping the metal clips in! A little super glue to the plastic clips and elbow grease to metal clips and I saved replacing the console through Ford for about $200. Thanks for the input.5
