well i'm pissed...i was taking off my wheel to paint my calipers & the last lug nut wouldn't budge....some jerkoff over tightened it at the tire shop....so, yea the stud is stripped out....i don't think i can re-thread it...so is it a pain to replace them or what???? thanks[?|]

hmmm, i don't know....my b/f said he thinks you can just knock the stud out & put the new one in.....hell, i've never done it b4 so i have no clue....i thought someone on here might know[dunno]

i literally just did this about 10 minutes ago, just knock it off with a hammer, you dont need to remoe anything except the tire. i got a set of 4 at the junk yard for 1.51. with the hole that you are replaceing, rotate the spindle so that the replacement hole is at roughly between 7 and 8 oclock if you picture the spindle as a wheel. tap it in from the back and when you put the tire on, as you thread it it will seal all the way. good luck
