Okay, The turbo and supercharger have been rulled out. So I guess stay all motor. I have a couple questions.

1) should I get rid of the gude cams in favor of the crower stage 3's?
If I get stage 3's woudl they be to rough to drive on the road.
2) what is the a good lsd? is one better than the other?
3) Would a fc 70mm throttle be ideal for this?
4) would I have to change injectors? I am running 30lbs now.

I already am planning on running the fr intake manni b4 august.

Thanks for the help

What intake?

Gude cams suck so you are right on with that.

What is done with the superchip, is it a custom burn for the MAF and injectors.

The crower cams are better but should be used with a better intake manifold like the FR intake manifold.

Either torsen or quaife will work, I personally would go with the quaife.

70mm T/B is a race only piece with no idle bypass so no on that.

What is a findanza clutch?

Custom made shorty intake- just the tube around the mass with a K&N cone filter

The chip is burned for everything. also rav raised.

what would that do without a idle bypass ?

sorry I meant fidenza flywheel and I have a
clutch masters clutch

70mm throttle body an overkill in your opinion?

not for a high output NA motor, but for daily driving the idle bypass is quite nessicary

so basically scratch the 70mm throttle body idea, and go with the fr intake mani. What about a stage 2/3 combo. I want some good power. Then get the quaife. then retune and maybe later down the road 50hp shot. sounds good to me. am I going to need bigger injectors?

Yes considering most N/A zetecs never see a ower level where they might even need that.

Fastfoci5, nix the 70mm T/B, no need to combine cams, just go with stage 3's, no need for larger than 30lb injectors, the FR intake is a good investment.

and if that dont keep your pipe lit, then 50-60 wet shot of N20 would be a nice boot in the ass to get ya up the 1/4 a whee bit faster.

50-60?

Im not too sure how long a focus can run a 75 shot before she keals over and dies. so i think 50-60 would be safe, would you guys happen to agree?

What do you plan on reving this to? I would buy parts based on the RPM range you are running. Bigger cams, TB and intake manifold and 7000 rpm I don't believe the loss of torque for HP gain will be worth it. If you go above that to say 7500 then it will start to pay off.

I would have to agree i would give up15HP for 10 pound foot of TQ on a NA engine

I also think the stage 3 cams ar WAY TO BIG for street NA cams and the 70MM TB works great on the FR intake and is the FR TB that its made for

Ray thats why I keep referring everyone to your shop car. The torque is great and your #'s speak for themselves.

Folks have this misconception that they need 200whp to go anywhere. To much FC influence I tell ya.

Anyone know if marcymotorsport can give me a streetable head package capable of producing 180whp? I've been looking into him and might be considering him over the other competitors out there.

Thats what I mean, instead of concentrating so much on whp, think more on wtq.

Torque is more important for acceleration.

Well, this forumla gives you an idea how important torque is to horsepower.

Horsepower = (Torque x RPM) / 5252
