So I have a 2007 ZX3. Everytime my car is in gear, i hear a strange sound kinda like a turbo spooling up. It gets louder as the rpms rise. Anyone ever had this happen? My car has 23k miles on it. thank you

Um hole in your intake or something that would make it whisle? That would be connected to your engine RPM's...

it does it when its in gear, it almost sounds like power steering whine. i checked that and i had plenty of fluid, it whines as the rpms rise. i have no idea what it could be!! it only does it in gear. it gets loud around 3k and above

It sounds like your hearing the throttle body whistling.
