Hello Gang - I just bought a 2005 Focus ZX4 S as my daily driver. Fun car to drive, I've already replaced the stock stereo system and now working on the wheels/tires. It has the 15" 195/60/15 (steel rim) that came stock. I'm looking to go with 16" wheels/tires. I've seen many threads suggesting 17", but I'm afraid that I'll end up losing some HP going that route and as well will end up with a rougher/noisier ride with only about 2" (maybe a slight exaggeration) worth of sidewall. I'm not looking to hod-rod this thing or lowering it, but want to put better wheels/tires that are a little lighter/wider/and fill in the fender wells a little. I'm thinking about going with a 225/50/16 setup. Anyone out there have this size on their unlowered Focus? My main concern is to not get any tire rub anywhere in the upgrade process and not to lose HP because of additional weight or what not. Any and all suggestions for this newbie will be appreciated. -dNorm
