got a ford focus se sedan and I measured the exhaust piping and it looked to be 2 1/4 piping...is this accurate??

I believe its the inside diameter you measure. The difference between the two number would be the thickness of the metal.

I got the muffler under ford focus accessories so when they weld it on it should fit right???

I see but the exhaust systems I was looking at are the same width as my stock piping i Just didnt see the point

I was thinkin of just a muffler and a high flow cat

If you're on a tight budget,go with the OBX short header and HP cat combo.There are vendors on Ebay selling them for around $150 bucks.And weld your new HP muff on.Personally,I'd step up to a full cat back exhaust with the OBX.I have a 4-1 with no cat,2.5 flex and Magnaflow.LOUD and proud...

or get the 4-2-1 like I have and just get rid of the cat buy some MIL eliminators so the check engine light won't come on and you'll pass emissions I did has long has the computer says everthings ok then you should pass. I do no problem
