I have a Duratec 2.0 will the OEM engine parts be strong enough to support the boost from the turbo ?

thats information about the 2 kits available for our engines that i compiled.

bottom line if you get the focussport kit YES it is safe on your stock internals at or below 12psi. they rate it at 11psi to be safe so if you run that, youre good to go. there are over 75 Focussport kits out there and some have over 70,000 miles on the KIT with over 90,000 miles on the car. very reliable product..

and yes upgrading the clutch is necessary to take full advantage of the turbo kit.

i ran mine on the stock clutch/differential for a while at 9-10psi and every now and then it would slip.. not too bad though. but with the new parts (i got the hypersingle stage 3, and torsen t2 diff) the car is completely different to drive... and i love it :)

^^^ I dont think is worth it that way...And what you have family. I personally save for the kit or just buy stuff down the road, more expensive but i think that works better when you dont have that kind of money laying around.
