It seems there are a lot of people asking questions about voiding their warranty when they add aftermarket parts, e.g. intakes, exhaust, sway bars, etc. It's a great question, but one that's repeated a lot of times. So I was thinking it might be a good idea to include a quick informational thread about warranty issues and aftermarket parts. It could include a very condensed version of the Magnuson Moss Act along with some general advice about how, what and why certain parts will and won't void your warranty, and what part of the warranty might be affected.

Just an idea for the administrators.

wow what a great idea! I was wondering if rims would mess with the warranty on the breaks, calipers, or anything really to do with the car's feet
