Hey everyone... Just wondering what your thoughts are on the short shifters through steeda and cfm. I just order my suspension so i figured I would do the shifter next. Which one should I go with?! Thanks [headbang]

I'm pretty sure your ST already has a short-throw shifter. It will be almost identical to Steeda's, 'cause Steeda's shifter = Ford Racing's shifter = your stock shifter. Can't speak for CFM tho.

The ST does not have a STS. I had a shifter and compare it to the FR one. Steeda has a new shifter. The only problem is that it looks like the CFM one so I wonder if it is just a cut down version of the original. I would be nice to see the both of them together. If you can find a FR STS or one of the earlier Steeda shifters then you will have a true STS.

the new steeda shifter is a true STS, different point where the linkage connects. also seems to make side to side shorter. 5th isnt anywhere the passenger seat anymore

It is cut down a lot more than stock.

yeah, i just got my hands on the old style. it may be the same length, but the old one changes the base too. i am hoping it is nice. the cfm is not a true short-throw. its just a really short shifter. it leaves you with, like, a nub.
