Hay, Im about to get a Steeda Short Throw Shifter. And as i read on the website it sounds like once you buy it, you must buy something to get the factory shift knob to attach to it. Is this true? I thought that you could just buy the Short throw and thats all. And just put the stock focus knob on it.

Help me out pleez.

Shane

Also is the shifter i need a Steeda Tri-Ax/F Short Throw Shifter?? or is it another model. I have an 03 zx3.

thanks

You can use your stock knob with the Steeda. Just make sure when you are ordering the Steeda Tri-Ax/F shifter,(yes they are one in the same), just make sure you tell them the correct model year of your car. There is a difference I think between '00 to '02 1/2 models and the '02 1/2 to present....

As I understand it, the steeda tri-ax/f 2002.5+ part is the same as Ford Racing part M-7210-Z3A. So I imagine the shifter would fit just fine.

The stock shift knob just threads right onto the Steeda, no problems at all.
