The description of the Comp Cams XR Series Camshafts are a bit confusing to me. I want to get a set of Stage 2s and don't know what to expect.

The "Stage 1" say Mild-rough to Rough Idle
The "Stage 2" Say Rough to Very-rough Idle.

How rough is very rough? Would raising my Idle to say 1000 RPMs smooth it out?

ya, raising the idle will help. What are the specs on the Comp 2 cams?

I have had my Comp Stage II in for about 2 months now, and I have stalled out about 5 times. I have a CFM tb, and I have a SCT tuner, but I have been too lazy to bump up the idle as yet. Has not been a big problem for me, but I wanted to let you know it does happen.

I would also look into a wide band AF gauge and a good tune (I can help you there) changing to the bigger cams you need to adjust a few things

Tom, how much for a tune? I already have a SCT X-cal2.

Also, what is involved with getting a Wide band AF gauge? Where does it go?
