I have cat cams stage 2 (lift = .395) and my stock springs and retainers for about 30000miles. But I don't like the sound of my zetec (valve float) so i need to change the springs and retainers now. Is the ford racing a good choice ??

Another question, i have a 2003 ZX5 and one of my friend (2003 ZX3) troubles with the installation of the crower springs and retainers because they are cylindrical and the stock one are conical and the crower didnt fit. But another of my friend (2001 ZX3) didnt have any problem with it. Did Ford change something in the valvetrain between 2001-2003 ??

You need a cutter for the base of the springs in the crowers. V6focus has one he may sell you.

The FRPP springs are just fine.
