Hi, I have a 2010 Ford Focus Mk2, it is the European model, after changing the gearbox oil, it started making a release spring noise when leaving from parking, it happens when the car is on 2nd gear or high rpm 1st gear, it just happens once and after that the car runs without any problems. But it does happen every time that I turn the car on.

I've checked to see if it is related to the parking break and it is not, even without engaging the break, just by turning the car off and on again, when starts running, it makes the noise.

I'm trying to understand on how things works on the car, but have no idea what could be the issue.

Have you had this issue before or have any guess what could be the issue?

Thanks!

Hard to say for sure, but it could be worn out front tie rod ends. When they are loose or worn the whole front suspension rattles and you can feel it in the steering wheel. It's also a common problem and a cheap fix.
