Hay-Will any of the other 2.0 blocks swap for the Focus block?I know the heads are different but I dont know if the blocks are.

They are all different, a Zetec is has a different block, and so does the 2.0 duratec.

SPI=SPI that's how it goes.

I am talking about Single cam 2.0 ford engines.2000-2004.An escort comes with a 2.0 SPI,the tracer comes with a 2.0 SPI.Does anyone Know if these blocks are the same as the focus 2.0 SPI-

Oh well then I'm not sure on that matter, I believe the 2000 + SPI escorts would be interchangeable b/c they are the exact same engines. Your going to have to get a ford diagram of the two cars engines b/c I know for a fact the escort has a different style intake than the focus, if thats different who knows what else might be.

if i remember right the rear motor mount is differant... but jeffescort would be the one to hear from on a definite answer on this. im pretty sure the focus spi is the only spi that will go into the focus with out major mods, unlike the escort... but i could be wrong, am all the time

Yep I researched this a while back and the escort motor did not have the attachment point for the front right drive axle. The focus block (YS4E) is the only one that will work.
