okay well i have been reading alot of different peoples engine builds, and tunings, and such. i have come to the conclusion that alot of guys are running autolite 104 coppers. im just curious if there is any special reason for this? And what is everyones opinion of the best plugs to run for NA or FI? I know its a dumb question but oh well.......

1 step colder for FI

you have a 2.0 so you would run 104 stock

copper is a better conductor

gap to .060 to maximize spark "acorn"

its kinda the consensus here and with most Ford people but you're more than welcome to try!

i know some use the Brisk plugs available from focussport, i've used NGK in the past...

You can run 103's, they are 1 step colder or you can buy AR103's which are still 1 step cooler and are a racing plug. They are about $6 each compared to the $1 each for the 103 plug.

brisk and ngk both suck , the AR series Autolite plugs do the job better then anything I have tried
Over the years of racing and being in this business I have had the opportunity to play with a lot of things and Spk Plugs being one of them even had articles published (one of many over the years) in MM&FF where the Autolite were the plugs to run , no one gave any plugs or paid for anything , Sense then I get boxes of plugs sent to me saying here try these we think you will find them a better plug NOT . In the initial test we tried 33 diff brands and heat ranges all recommended for the application we were working on , even to this day I still use Autolite AR series and feel there the best plug out there still

For the guys that have turbo or high compression and do hard track running I would go to the AR96 plugs for the track
