ive searched and searched and could not find anything to help me. A while back i installed a jba shorty header and after i heard a faint ticking noise under acceleration. thinking it was an exhaust leak i reinstalled the header and replaced every gasket, used sealant, and torqued it down right. still there. took it to a meineke and had it tested for a leak, they said there wasnt one. im confused to where its coming from. could a collapsed pvc hose or bad egr be causing this? its only under load, in park or neutral when i rev its not there.

Duececoupe had a bad EGR valve and it made his car sound like a lawn mower. It could be worth looking into.

tested the egr valve, its fine. pcv hose is collapsed tho. would that be causing it? also checked the egr pipe connection at the cat. its as tight as i can get it.
