What was Sony's involment with this system? Are the speakers Sony? Was Sony responsible for the sound processing in my MyFord Touch? I am just curious.

The speakers, amp, and subwoofer are all Sony as well as the sound processing.

The IP radio functions and volume dial panel were also designed by Sony, which you can tell by comparing the look to their home theater systems.

I feel that the door speakers are not Sony as they are branded Fomoco and say made in china on them.
