Has anyone thought of making some solid motor mounts ??
Just curious, and if any of you have them how do they perform ?

they perform great....on a rally car. this is not something street worthy. if you want, fill your stock mounts

You could probably weld/braze a piece of metal cut to the right size to the inside of the existing mount(s.) The problem is its going to shake like a MFer set up like that...unless you're talking about a dedicated race car this wouldn't be a good idea. Using a car with solid mounts for a daily driver would get very old, very fast.

i second the fact that solid mounts are a race car mod. Feeling every vibration from the motor would get to you in a daily driver...If you are going for a race car then they would help you

Just get all three VF Polyurethane Engine Mounts. Trust me, it will be more than enough for what you're looking for.
